Black Fleece SS12

Recently, I had the chance to check out the sample's of Brook Brother's Black Fleece line. As usual, the line had a perfect choice of fabrics and shapes that represent the tradition of Brooks Brother's and the provocative stance of Thom Browne. My favorite was the new color palette of green, yellow and pink and the summer fabrics such as seersucker and madras. Also, what I was impressed by was the large number of new accessories. Sandals, beach towel, paisley pocket squares, tote bags and a whole new collection of wallets and purses.
ブルックスブラザーズのブラックフリースラインのサンプルを見に行ってきました。今回もブルックスブラザーズの伝統とトムブラウンの新しい風を感じるコレクションでした。素材は伝統的なシアサッカーやマドラスをトムブラウンらしいコンパクトなシルエットに収めた、非常に実用的で斬新なアイテムが多い印象。注目は新しいカラーパレットである、グリーン、ピンクやイエローといった非常にプレップな色の取り合わせ。グリーンが気になります。

Camouflage and Orange

I think everyone has a specific color combination that they tend to stick to. Personally, the tricolor and Pink/Green combo has long been my favorite. This year I've added a new set, orange and camouflage. The camo, originally made to disguise one into the environment has a totally new role today. It's the perfect pattern to be vibrant in the crowd. Orange has a subtle impression than red, yet is bright enough to highlight your outfit. Moreover, orange has long been used for lining of military wear and is the perfect complimentary color for camouflage.

色の取り合わせは無数とありますが、自分が気に入った組み合わせとなると以外と少なかったり。個人的にはトリコロール、ピンクとグリーンなどの組み合わせが最近のお気に入り。最近あたらしい組み合わせにハマっています、画像にあるオレンジとカモフラージュ。カモフラージュと言えば元々人間を背景に同化する為の柄でしたが、今は他人と差を付ける打ってつけの柄。オレンジは軍服のライナーなどによく使われる色で、カモフラージュとは相性抜群。そんな、コンビネーションの小物で楽しんでいます。

It's getting chilled out and is the time of year to pull out gloves, scarves and a beanie. Another winter essential for me are thick wool socks. These wool socks by Falke are made from lambswool and guarantees your feet and ankles warmth. You can't miss out the fact that these socks are hand-linked but are affordable. I actually wear them with Thom Browne shoes instead of chunky mountain boots.
外も大分寒くなってきました、この季節になると必ず引っ張りだすのがファルケのウォーキー。ラムズウールで出来ているので足下の保温は抜群で、真冬にトムブラウン丈のパンツを穿いていても平気です。保温性も魅力の一つですが、なんといってもハンドリンクドトゥ、この価格ではなかなか見かけません。

Thom Browne Eyewear - TB011A

Thom Browne Eyewear finally made its debut in Tokyo this Friday. I could not resist myself from going to see the first three models on sale. This TB-011A is not mine but, I was lucky enough to take some photo's. Witnessing the beauty of the first three models, I'm pretty sure that Im going to get the TB-005 model.

遂に今週トムブラウンアイウェアーが発売。初回は三型がデビュー、早速見に行ってきました。このTB-011Aは私物ではありませんが、幸い写真に収める事が出来ました。TB-005の発売が待ちどうしい。

Med Gray Heavy Donegal Tweed

I'm in love with this fabric. I love the heavy texture and the warmth it portrays.  Moreover, whats fantastic about this donegal fabric is its gray background. You're ordinary donegal fabric has a white background with black and grey pebbles. Where as this fabric has a gray background with black and white pebbles giving a more city suited impression.

今年一番気に入っている生地がこのヘビードネガルツイード。素材感や暖かみも気に入っているのですが、一番のポイントは色。通常のドネガル素材なら白地に黒とグレーのネップなのに対して、こちらの素材はグレー地に黒と白のネップで全体に締まった都会的な印象。

Want - December

Though December has brought some chill to Tokyo, the city has been experiencing unusual highs. Many brands have already started offering Spring/Summer 2012 items on the web. Consequently, my mind is set for Spring Summer wear and my December wish list is composed of items that may enrich my basics.
１２月になってやっと季節が追いついてきた感じです。早いブランドは既に２０１２春夏のアイテムを売り始め、自分の物欲も春夏に標準を合わせつつあります。そんな経緯もあり、１２月のウィッシュリストは定番が中心。
