Bruce Pask is another fashion hero of mine. T-Magazine's men's fashion director has a style I cannot achieve. I can't pin down the right word to express his style but maybe "effortless". His wardrobe is composed of the classic mens pieces but I feel its how he combines them. Take the denim jacket, its one of the most versatile piece but he rocks it! My favorite combo is him putting a denim jacket under the chesterfield coat (last picture). He also rocks the fingerless gloves. Just has great style.
The semi-annual fashion issue was just released yesterday. It has great samples of how to incorporate vivid and bright colors into your fashion. Also it comes with a special collaboration booklet with United Arrows. The interview with Michael Bastian is a must read.
Wow, this Kitsune x Mackintosh Harrington jacket is the best I've seen in years. The outer shell is pure mackintosh fabric made in Scotland. The color combo is my taste. The white ribs with the navy line sharpens up the whole jacket and brings in that Kitsune elegance and mode to a standard piece.
Acutely modern, Nick Wooster's fashion is the best portrait of men's fashion today. Incorporating the trends of the turbulent fashion world, Nick Wooster conveys his identity with staple pieces like the tailored jacket, boston framed glasses and his iconic beard. Mr. Wooster's preceptive choice of brands and items are a reflection of his position as the men fashion director of Bergdorf Goodman and Neiman Marcus. His effective use of vivid and bright colors with staples pieces are unique. Most noteworthy his take on a essential men's piece and tailoring it with distinct fabrics and patterns. Swagger is a word made for him.
