After finishing up some business, I headed to Isetan Men's. Come to think of it, Isetan is the only place I buy stuff. Why? For one, you can see almost every brand you can possibly imagine in one building which makes shopping so much easier.
昼間予定があったので、帰り際に伊勢丹メンズ館へ！買い物といえばメンズ館ですね。思い浮かべるすべてのブランドが揃っているのはメンズ館ぐらいでわ？色々見られるので大好きです。
So, I headed to the third floor to pick up a shirt I recently bought. I passed by Moncler Gamme Bleu and found the perfect spring coat. Well actually two.
シャツのお直し上がりを三階に取りに行ったついでにモンクレールガムブルーを物色していると。なんと、不思議なことでしょう、最良のコートを二つも発見。
The first one is a balmacaan in cotton/polyester, its hard to decipher from the picture above but it is in a prince of whales with pink window plane. It also has a hot pink, mesh fabric, action pleat on the arm hole. The hot pink can also be seen inside the fly fronts of the coat as well. The hot pink just adds that perfect spring feel. The second one was a mackintosh fabric pea coat. What's special? It has red lining that I love. What was superior of both coats was its fit. I tried on a size 1 (I'm usually a 00 or 0) but it fit snug like a 0. Can't wait to try on the 0 size. I really want the grey balmacaan, just perfect.
一つ目はコットン／ポリのステンカラー。グレーのグレンチェックにピンクのウィンドープレーン。最高です、特に梅雨の時とかにきたい素材感です。アームホールにはアクションプリーツなるものがついていて、中はピンクのメッシュ素材。通気性とちょっとしたひねりが憎いです。二つ目はマッキン素材のピーコート。とりあえず、試着でノックアウト。笑 二つに共通している事ですが、ガムブルーのサイズ感はコレクションごとに良くなっています。試着したコートは１にも関わらず、０ぐらいのフィット感。０をトライしてみたい！あ〜ステン欲しい！

Mark McNairy did a fabulous job of keep the rugged American feel that Daiki Suzuki, his precursor, had created for WWM. I actually loved the whole presentation but, the look that I choose above was chic out of the whole collection. I loved this look when in contrast with the other very American inspired clothing.
鈴木大器の後任に抜擢されたマークマクナリーは鈴木さんが作り上げたウールリッチのイメージを継続しながら、マクナリーらしさを巧みに出していますね。上の写真はコレクションのなかでも大分落ち着いたルックですが、全体で見たときに目を奪われました。
Moncler Gamme Bleu! Thom Browne, yet again, presented a cutting edge show at Milan. As he had told us beforehand, the show was based on hunting and horse-riding. He had models pulling dogs on the cat-walk (or stadium you might say) and men on horses. I always love the way he presents something classic through a new lens. His equivocal shows and presentation are always enticing. The look I choose was representing this new interpretation of hunting. I especially love the scarf, need to get it!
モンクレールガムブルーはまた斬新なショーを披露。乗馬練習をする広場にモデルが狩猟犬を引き連れて歩く。最高の雰囲気を作り上げていますよね。上のルックは今までになかったアメリカンなハンティングデザインをトムブラウンの新しい解釈で作り上げている、今回のテーマを代表するルック。マフラー欲しいです。
I just loved the atmosphere and the mood of the look I choose from Marni. I don't know what caught me so much but, I just like it.
マルニのルックは単に好きでした。雰囲気が好きです。適度な緩さにエレガンス。
Show by D&G was new. I guess its the new taste for D&G, Italian brand creating American inspired clothing. This trend at D&G was already foreseen from the Spring 2010 show, which had lots lots lots of gingham shirts with distressed denim. The look above was just had the perfect feel. The combination was perfect. I love the jacket, the chambray shirt and the t-shirt all combining to make a chill and classic look. The green lining of the jacket and the blue sneaker adds the spice of casual american look.
D&Gのショーは春夏に引き続きイタリア解釈のアメリカン。今回のショーの方が個人的には好きです。上のルックはショーを代表するルックですが、最高に格好いいです。ジャケットといい、シャンブレーとt−シャツの合わせが完璧。そこにジャケットの裏地のグリーンとブルーのスニーカーがスパイスが効果的。バックトゥーザフューチャーっぽい。

Song of the Day: Shadow Dancer - "Cowbois (Strip Steve Remix)"
Burberry Prorsum live stream show last night was wonderful. I loved how the authentic and iconic outwear were featured in contrast to the subtle pants. Most noteworthy was the rain. CG, I believe were used to create the rain on the catwalk where all the models returned with a transparent rain coat on top of their looks. The idea was eye catching and also was a great way to show Burberrys roots. Heads up to Christopher Bailey!
昨晩のバーバリープローサムのライブストリームショーは良かったですね。代表的になアウターが全面的に押し出されていたショーでした。色使いもポップで！最後に雨をCG??で降らせ演出もバーバリーらしさを引き立てましたね。
My favorite show was Dolce & Gabbana. In short, superb tailoring and fun ideas. I think the whole collection was devoted to tailored clothing with a bit of a twist on details. You saw big lapels then small lapels, short length then normal. Wide pants and then the slims. The contrast was effectively creating a fun show. Though the colors were kept to simple black, grey and red, the combination had a impact to the eye.
今のところ一番好きなのはドルチェ＆ガッパーナのショーですね。端的に言うと、ひねりを加えたテーラーリング。テーラーリングが多くを占めたショーでしたが、ちょっとひねったディテールが全体を魅力的にしていまね。ラペルも太いもの、細いもの、ジャケット丈も短いものから標準まで。プロポーションでもバリエーションが見られました。色は他のブランドよりも控えめ？で黒、グレーと赤。逆にこの突き詰めた色使いが好きです。

What was noticed on the first day was the revival of the 80's, lots of colors (like Jil Sander), tailored clothing and thick soled shoes.
ミラノ初日で印象的だったのは８０sリバイバル、豊富な色使い, そして、昨年に引き続き分厚いソールのポッテリ系シューズやブーツ。
Day 2, Moncler Gamme Bleu will be showing its collection. I bet everybody is interested in what Thom Browne is up to this time with the Italian sports wear brand. He has given us a clue. "Hunting and Horse-riding "
二日目はモンクレールガムブルーです！早くみたい。トムブラウンがどんな演出で世界を魅了するのかも見物ですよね。そんな中テーマを象徴するスケッチが以下の写真。”狩猟と乗馬”がテーマだぞうです。

2011-12 Autumn and Winter fashion shows are coming up! It's the time of year we've all awaited. My personal interest are Thom Browne, Bottega Veneta and Band of Outsiders.
I hope everyone is enjoying their holiday with family, beloved ones, doing what you like and whatever! Recently bought some books off of amazon - True Prep and The IVY Look. Both are dedicated to portraying and deciphering what Prep and IVY fashion is about. What got me the most was that the presence of IVY/PREP fashion all over the world. True Prep originates in the US, IVY Look from Britain and Take Ivy from Japan. Prep and Ivy fashion has dominated and influenced fashion in 2010. Will this persist? I don't know but, at least my roots are in Prep and Ivy so, I enjoyed the surge of Prep and Ivy fashion in the recent years.
Recently, went to the newly opened Haneda International Airport. One thing, its so much better than Narita. It only takes half the time to get to there. What more do you want?? Haneda is going to be my airport from now on.
Also, headed out to Marunouchi district near Tokyo station few days ago. My primary purpose was lunch with my family but ended up shopping around the area. Went to Tomorrowland, Land of Tomorrow and Brooks Brothers. I didn't pick up anything but, I was able to check out these store for the first time and was impressed by the interior and exterior design of the store. All were urbane and of sophisticated design. My favorite was Land of Tommorow which, is a store operated by Tomorrowland, dedicated to designer fashion rather than business casual of Tomorrowland.
年明けそうそう、丸の内へも行ってきました。目的は家族でランチでしたが、結局ショッピングになってしまいました。Tomorrowland, Land of Tomorrowそして、Brooks Brothersへ。セール時期といった事もあり、すごい人でした。何もゲットせず。春物まで待ちます。。
