Tokyo is one fashion city. Harajuku, Shinjuku, Ginza and Shibuya are all hot spots of Tokyo. So, I decided to take a walk in a subtle area of Tokyo. The area of Daikanyama and Naka-Meguro are emerging fashion districts of Tokyo. Many distinct and incomparable stores.
Loveless
Loveless selects high-end brands and also retail original products. I spotted a few Thom Browne shirts, Band of Outsiders shoes and Alexander Wang.
Hollywood Ranch Market
HRM retails original products. Its very dedicated to rugged American fashion. From the perfect fitting chambray work shirts and rugged chinos, HRM is dedicated to supplying clothing that readers of Free & Easy would adore.
Bonjour Records
Bonjour Records is my favorite independent record store. It's a five minute walk from the station and is hard to spot from its ingenuous appearance. But, they are connoisseurs when it comes to electro and dance music. My first visit to this store was in high school, when I only listened to 70-80's rock music. Bonjour Records got me addicted to electro, disco and dance music. They also collect great books and clothing as well. I saw some kitsune tee and books like the recently re-published TAKE IVY.
TIME CAFE
I ended up walking to Shibuya and taking a coffee break at TIME CAFE. It's managed by BEAMS, a major clothing store in Japan. Its located on the second floor of Beams Time in Shibuya.
