This jacket struct me when I first saw it  during the Black Fleece A/W11-12 preview. I just could not imagine my closet without a jacket with traditional details yet with modern proportions. This sport coat will accompany me for decades.

初めてこのジャケットを目にした時は衝撃でした。アメリカントラッドを象徴するジャケットでながらトムブラウンの現代的なプロポーション。もう言う事ないです、１０年とは言わず一生物。

Recently, I had the chance to check out the sample's of Brook Brother's Black Fleece line. As usual, the line had a perfect choice of fabrics and shapes that represent the tradition of Brooks Brother's and the provocative stance of Thom Browne. My favorite was the new color palette of green, yellow and pink and the summer fabrics such as seersucker and madras. Also, what I was impressed by was the large number of new accessories. Sandals, beach towel, paisley pocket squares, tote bags and a whole new collection of wallets and purses.
ブルックスブラザーズのブラックフリースラインのサンプルを見に行ってきました。今回もブルックスブラザーズの伝統とトムブラウンの新しい風を感じるコレクションでした。素材は伝統的なシアサッカーやマドラスをトムブラウンらしいコンパクトなシルエットに収めた、非常に実用的で斬新なアイテムが多い印象。注目は新しいカラーパレットである、グリーン、ピンクやイエローといった非常にプレップな色の取り合わせ。グリーンが気になります。

Unseasonable? Not really.

It's a chilly day in Tokyo. I took a stroll down to American Apparel Daikanyama to pick up some vivid socks. The sun's warmth was cozy but it was terrible having to wait for the light to change in the shade. I couldn't resist pulling out my cashmere blazer.

東京は寒い一日でした。ちょっと早いとは承知でカシミアのブレザーでキメテ出かけました。代官山のアメリカンアパレルに派手な靴下をゲットしにいきましたが、何しろ寒い。太陽が体に当たっている時は気持ちがよいのですが、いったん陰に入ると突き刺す様な寒さ。僕は異常に寒がりです。
