Fashion Icon Vol.1 - Thom Browne
All of us, probably, admire someone's fashion or sensibility. I want to introduce a few of my fashion icons. First up is Thom Browne.
ファッションのお手本にしている人いますか？いる事だと思います。自分が影響され尊敬するファッションアイコンを数人ですがご紹介します。
I love his stoic sense and vision for fashion. His utilitarian and uniform like dress code has changed and taught me the art of taking away variables. He only wears grey. He only wears dress shoes. He only wears a white oxford shirt out of the dryer. He has a couple of principles which formulates his style. Some might say its boring, its austere but exploring the maximum with in a set limit is contrasting and unique in a world of numerous variety. I don't know if I can be this stoic with my wardrobe but, I adapted his sensibility and finally have found staple items that never will change.
合理的でストイック。そんな言葉が似合うのがトムブラウンです。ファッションにユニフォーム性を求め、決められた範囲の服しか着用しない。色はグレーしか着ず、シャツは洗いざらしの白いオックスフォード。靴は数足のウィングチップのみと、トレンドとは逆です。しかし、こうした定番をもつ事をすごく教えられました、そして、それが個性に繋がると。昔のトラッドや紳士はこうしたファッション定義をもっていました。現代ではまたそれが新鮮で斬新です。今自分も定番を揃える段階の途中です。

He has finally entered the market for Women's officially starting Spring2011 and I am eager to see his influence over women's wear as he changed the way for men's.
今期の春夏から本格的にウィーメンズウェアーに進出したトムブラウンですが、彼がウィーメンズファッションにどれほどの影響を及ぼすか楽しみです。

Women's RTW Fall 2011
I don't follow much of Women's fashion but watching the runway shows inspires me and gives me ideas that aren't present in Men's fashion. Though I feel that more than ever, Women's and Men's fashion are becoming alike in terms of trends, color combo, theme's and brands. Here are my favorite shots from the Fall 2011 runway so far.

There's a great contrast born when women wear men's inspired clothing with dresses or by itself. Like the outwear above or tailored jackets the contrast highlights and brings forward the femininity.
