It's always difficult for me to decide on a proper timing to change my closet to a Spring/Summer one. Living in Japan for nearly ten years I've come to conclusion that March is the perfect timing. Why so? Most stores in Japan shift there line up in mid February when its still chilly out but, its visually appealing to an fashion consumer like myself. So, you start to remind yourself about Spring clothes you have kept way and at the same time imagine what new items will fit in. Consequently, the weather starts to alternate between the highs and lows, you push yourself to go into a Spring closet.

Mackintosh Fabric |
Technically speaking, I put away outwear and jacket that are tweeds, cashmere, flannels and all of those wintery fabrics and pull out my twills, gaberdine and worsted wool. When the weather goes low, I adjust by layering a cardigan and a scarf. Last but not least, coats must be in mackintosh fabric.
